Trapped within the nexus of corruption, crime and politics is Vijay who along with a group of educated yet unemployed youth are the vigilante in their village, employed by the District Council President Pankaj Chaudhari.
The nature of Vijay’s job and its questionable morality is a matter of contention with his forthright elder brother, Prabhat. But Prabhat is assured that Vijay isn’t morally corrupt. Vijay was gaining popularity in the village when Prabhat accidentally witnessed a murder committed by Pankaj. In order to wipe out all evidence, Pankaj kills Prabhat. Prabhat breathes his last in Vijay’s lap taking Pankaj’s name. Prabhat’s death sends Vijay’s life out of gear. Vijay felt responsible for Prabhat’s death. This is the turnaround in Vijay’s life. Vijay makes it his life’s ambition to take revenge on Pankaj but soon realizes that he is too small a fry in the large network of corrupt, criminal, morally compromised world around him. But Vijay is too sedulous and changes the course of his life and gains power. His journey culminates when he becomes the Chief Minister of the state.
